#881 CIFS share transfer speed is slow for FreeNAS run on XEN

I have a machine equipped with gigabit NIC. I install and configure FreeNAS 8 amd64 on the machine. Create a new CIFS share. Copy a big file from the share give me about 60Mbps rate.

My second test is install a Citrix XenServer and install FreeNAS 8 as a guest OS. Copy a big file from CIFS share give me only 20Mbps. However, a Windows 7 guest OS running on same XenServer may transfer at 60Mbps.

I have enable Large RW, enable AIO, enable sendfile in FreeNAS. I allocated 1G ram for FreeNAS at runtime.

Is FreeNas not working fit as virtual machine?
