Installing on HP Smart Array p400i is impossible due the lack of ciss.ko module (It seems it wasn't compiled). FreeBSD 8.2 RELEASE have this driver.
It's commented out in the amd64 KERNCONF file, along with a handful of other drivers ( http://freenas.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/freenas/experimental/ix-8.2/nanobsd/FREENAS.amd64?revision=5657&view=markup ).
I wonder what the reasoning was for stripping this out of the kernel.
