#834 Network times out intermitted

Installed Freenas on an IBM server, with a USB Samsung 3G 2TB drive.
At unexpected times the ping requests will time out for intermitted time befrore returning again.
To speed up te request to return i can do a ping from the console to my router, which always is ok?
After this the connection is their again, but i never know when it will disappaer again :(
This is very anoying.

Next i tried to assign a restored VMWare partition to the iSCSI of FreeNAS, but every time the following messages on the console are returned:
