#818 v8 GUI share configuration flawed

The only path that can be set when configuring new shares with the FreeNAS 8 web GUI is the main path for the drive volumes. It doesn't allow any other paths, so, only shares that all point to the same location can be set (alternative being go edit smb.conf yourself).
