AMD64 LiveCD 0.69.2.4700 running on Tyan S2865 mobo

When booting from the LiveCD, assign ip, unable to save config to floppy.
Floppy is empty and FAT formatted.

dmesg | grep fd only shows floppy disk controller

I just booted from and flashed the BIOS on this mobo successfully using the exact same floppy.

Tried using a USB stick, as well, but causes the system to hang when booting from the LiveCD.

It seems the the kernel module is missing, or not loading (maybe the same with USB as well - could be an isolated issue).
