#426 Subnet issue

I was able to connect to this with no issues on my lab network. Connecting to the box via any method was no problem.

But when I put it on my production network I started having issues, I could not browse to it, pings only worked sometimes (like 6 out of 10), I couldn't ping from the shell to anywhere else.

My production network is 10.0.0.0/23 which gives me 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.1.254. I had the FreeNAS box on 10.0.1.1/23 when it was giving me issues. I also have other subnets on my network 10.0.2.0/23, 10.0.4.0/23, 10.0.6.0/23, etc. Normally from any workstation or server, I can ping/browse/whatever to any machine on my network because it's all set up in my router. But on the FreeNAS box I had to put in static routes to my other networks.

I haven't played much with it, but when I changed it to 10.0.0.203/23 it did appear to work (pings, browsing, etc). Unfortunately I had to go back to v.686.4 which works properly with the 10.0.1.1/23 address.

Has anyone else run across this?

Small update for clarification, my lab network is 172.16.1.0/24.
