There appears to be a known issue in the BSD Kernel used in FreeNAS. the NICs using the Realtek 8110SC chipset (it hangs when configuring the WAN or LAN or whatever port). There is a patch available (¤http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-bugs/2007-March/023075.html) that will apparently fix this. Can this please be applied soon?

    Hi,

as i've seen the patch has been backported to RELENG_6 (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=110804&cat=). You can have a look on the latest nightly build which should already include this patch. Please give feedback.

    Greetings
    Volker

You should retry now with nightly builds (0.69.x).

Bugtracker cleanup. Please open a new BR for latest stable build (0.686.4) or beta (0.69) if necessary.
