Hi, somehow I had completely overlooked your test program, especially when you say that 0x55 makes it crash almost instantly. I'm getting very similar vibes here as from https://github.com/freemint/freemint/issues/273#issuecomment-1832685444. I'll try this at some point, ideally in Hatari or Aranym.
