Oh dear. Any chance you could grab some older snapshot from https://tho-otto.de/snapshots/freemint/bootable and observe how it behaves? I can't say I have noticed something like this on my CT60(+SV, sometimes) setup. What does xaaes log say? Does it crash in the same place?
