Thanks, thats works indeed better. I still get a few conflicts, but only small 
ones. But it will still take some time, because i have to recompile both 
compilers after each checkout, therefor it takes ~30min before i can tell 
whether a revision is "bad" or "good". And there are about 11000 commits 
between basepoints/gcc-14 and master...

But the good news: the crash is still reproducible with gcc 15.0.0 (the 
version on the master branch).

Bisecting: 5527 revisions left to test after this (roughly 13 steps)
