I remember using SUM a couple of times back in the day and it worked. Here's

Speaking of this project, I think it's a great idea and I hope it will reach 
completion. One query I have is how do you plan on interfacing the RPM distro 
with the FreeMiNT kernel/AES? EasyMint made things overly complex in that 
respect and I would hate to have to edit scripts and/or config files just 
because I'm booting another kernel.
