QED currently does not allow to open 2 windows of the same file. ( or am I just not aware of how).if it is allowed, wouldn't it be simpler than to have a split in the work area of the window ?The contents of the 2 windows will have to sync with each other if one changes (should be simple to achieve).Then it just a matter of arranging the 2 windows -> left-right, top-bottom... etc. (auto arrange windows should also be simple to do) These features I also found it lacking in QED as I find myself scrolling up and down to see functions etc while programming. Just my 2 cents.
