Thomas MacEntee - 2008-09-13

I've posted a bit about Free Mind this week and several ways in which I've used the app:

- in genealogy, I've used it to map out research theories and then track and inter-connect all the research facts and sources to prove or disprove the theory.

- as a member of Unclaimed Persons (www.unclaimedpersons.org), I am a case admin for a particularly difficult case.  I am trying to locate next of kin for a body in the San Diego County medical examiner's office and the person was known to have many aliases and at least one stolen identity.  In order to summarize the case for my volunteer researchers, I used Free Mind to organize the research and even include a mug shot of the decedent.
