I just lost hours of work, just because Freemind crashed and the Autosaved files were deleted as I accidently reopened-and-closed freemind again. I wanted to open the last Autosave file from within freemind, just to notice it wasn't possible. Then I navigated to the freemind folder to notice they were deleted by freemind after closing the programm.
Why deleting them? Please just let the last three or so there and overwrite them instead.
there is an option to keep every automatic save file.
Furthermore, FreeMind deletes only automatic files that were created in *that* session and not others. So, if it crashes, those files are kept forever.
