    if you're not a programmer, just make tab-indented text and paste it to FreeMind from clipboard. Each new line will be new node, and indentation will indicate level and dependency.

    If you ARE a programmer, write XSLT, it's not that hard. There is nothing even near to "complex" in FreeMind MindMap format!

    about XSLT

    I never write markup language at hand ( one of my life principles! = )), perhaps metaprogramming for generating it…

    I would like to help with datatypes and automated midmapping, because I like mindmap,

    I discover a XML Schema Editor will be enough for any of my needs, so I wonder

    Why don't freemind let open txt files with the tabulated format?
