I have some mm files generated with fm 090alfa12. There are some html (i.e. richcontent) nodes which presumably stem from copy and paste actions from html pages. All umlauts of such html nodes are represented as utf8 chars (e.g. ä) and not as xml entities (e.g. ä).
Problem: For freemind doesn't add an xml declaration to the mm file, saxon9 processor complains when postprocessing a mm:
com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.io.MalformedByteSequenceException: Invalid byte 2
of 3-byte UTF-8 sequence. Transformation failed: Run-time errors were reported
Why not add an xml declaration to the .mm file?

I would like to underline this request very much, since over the time I had and still have different problems with Umlauts (as mentioned before) and I could imagine, that the xml declaration could prevent them.
Thank you for considering this
It would also solve - I believe - the compatibility problems with Pocket Freemind which I consider a very good companion to Freemind.
