I'm running under Debian Linux and I get a "No print service found" whenever I attempt to print. What service is it looking for and how do I tell it to look in the right place?

The exact error I get under Sun JDK 1.4 is:

    java.awt.print.PrinterException: No print service found.
            at sun.print.RasterPrinterJob.print(
            at sun.print.RasterPrinterJob.print(

            at javax.swing.AbstractButton.fireActionPerformed(
            at javax.swing.AbstractButton$ForwardActionEvents.actionPerformed(
            at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.fireActionPerformed(
            at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.setPressed(
            at javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicButtonListener.mouseReleased(
