Command and +/- keys are supposed to change the font size. Minus works but plus does not. I shrunk my font and couldn't get it back to normal. Then I realized it could be done but only through the menu.
By the way, I think it would be better to make Command and -/+ zoom rather than change the font size. And then maybe the font size could be changed with Command and the bracket keys. The plus and minus keys are most frequently associated with zooming and are what a new user would be most likely to guess at first. Brackets are often used for making incremental changes (like brush size in Photoshop or object stack order in Illustrator).
Just my opinions, but since we're on the subject I felt I should throw in my two cents.
