Hi, first off all, thanky you for perfect aplication.
So, need a small help. I tried to do this:
Merge several nodes back into one branch
This feature could work as follows: ctrl-select several nodes. hit "insert". all selected nodes are now connected to the newly created node
But it doesn´t work. It just jump to the one of selected nodes and create new node from it.
Nobody? Developers? I want the same !!!
I sometimes also need such a functionality. As it seems that there was a discussion about such a feature that led to the decision not to include it, to keep the maps hierarchical.
Anyhow I found a workaround that at least simulates such a functionality:
Assume you have a bunch of nodes, lets call them A-E and you want to join them into a node F:
1. Make F as a child of node of A
2. select nodes B-E while holding ctrl and at last select node F while holding ctrl
3. press ctrl-L
this (additionally) creates graphical links from nodes B-E to node F (you can format them to remove the arrows but I usually leave the arrows to show this is a join)
