Was there ever a solution for this? I just upgraded to v0.9.0 on windows (XP), and this problem emerged. How can we get Freemind to pick up the alt-V and do Paste Format? It worked in 0.8.1.
Thanks for any help.

PC version of software
Per the help file under "Formatting a node" node:
To copy formats of a node, press Alt + C
To paste formats onto a node, press Alt + V
As would be expected for a windows application, alt + v opens a menu item that begins with v, in this case the "View" menu.
Is the documentation in error? Is there a way to adjust the shortcut keys?
Thanks ...
Hi Kay,
Confirm there is an issue as you describe...
>>To copy formats of a node, press Alt + C
Alt-C copies a format correctly - as does Edit>>Copy Format
>>To paste formats onto a node, press Alt + V
Alt-C does not paste format, fires up the View menu instead, as you say - but Edit>>Paste Format works
>>Is the documentation in error?
Apparently, but looks like a bug to me.
>>Is there a way to adjust the shortcut keys?
Possibly/probably, but since it looks like a bug could you please let us know your setup:
e.g. I'm Win XP + all updates + Freemind 0.9.0b16 + JavaRE 1.6
Thaanks Kay...
P.S. Any Mac, Linux users confirm this, or is it Win only?
Bernard
Confirmed. Ubuntu Linux 8.04 running FM 0.9.0 b17 shows the same behaviour.
