    Hi all!

Received a fatal error message: "Internet Explorer possible XSS attack found - see wiki/cross-site scripting" while uploading an mm file to a server, using Joomla 1.5. The upload was aborted.

Is this a true vulnerability? If not, is there a workaround known for Joomla?

    best regards,

That's quite surely a Joomla or IE problem, nothing to do with FreeMind.
You could try to use Firefox instead of IE?

    Thanks, Eric!

When uploading the .mm file to the server I was using FF off of the backend of Joomla.

    I don't understand anything about cross-scripting.

As a workaround, I uploaded the file using ftp. It got there. But the file is not invoked on the frontend, neither with FF nor with IE. The plugin seems to have a problem, or whatever. I've addressed the issue with the programmer.
