Is it possible to save a freemind map to a graphic file like JPG, GIF which I can then paste into a powerpoint?

    thanks.

I use a Freemind testversion 0_7_2 Beta which is available at http://freemind.sourceforge.net/testversions/

This one offers JPEG-Export and it works very well (in my environment !!).

But it is still a Beta Testversion !!!!!

PDFCreator is a free tool to create PDFs easily from nearly any application

      http://sector7g.wurzel6.de/pdfcreator/index_en.htm

It installs as an extra printer and also "prints" to PNG, JPEG, BMP, PCX, TIFF, PS, EPS files.

      Sorry, probably a stupid question:

I tried to install the freemind 0_7_2 beta version, i.e. I first installed the current version and then copied the files from the beta version into the respective directories.

Unfortunately the JPG-export option does not appear.
      What did I do wrong?
Thanks for a hint !      Gabrielle

I think you just started the "old" version of Freemind.
I installed the Beta version using a new directory. There a file named "freemind.bat" appeared, which must be used for starting (Windows of course).
Using unix I suppose to use freemind.sh.

      Good luck

      Hi Michael,

Yes, this was the problem. Running the beta-version from a new directory worked.

      Thank you very much
