    Hello everyone,

unfortunately, I cannot get FM running on my new system: OpenSuSE 11.3/64 Bit. I installed the Java RTE and force its use by a 'freemindrc' file. Here is the debug output:

Any help is very much appreciated because I don't want to forego FM at my new working place… Thanks!

this seems to be a problem with Java and not with FreeMind, you should follow the recommendation to report the crash to Sun/Oracle; possibly the referenced file /home/schwabe/Progs/freemind/hs_err_pid14518.log might have more information that you should join to your bug report.

I notice that you use a non-packaged Java RE, you might want to try the packaged one instead:

    Hi Eric,

thanks for the hints. I try checking my JAVA installation. That is, I have to make my admin do so… Well, we'll see. Anyway, thanks again.
