I found some strange behaviour in 0.9 RC3:
Start FM, create a new MM and add a small hierarchy of three nodes:
def
/
TOP node -- abc =
\ ghi

When I select one of the leaf nodes (e.g. ghi) and press Ctrl-LEFT I expect that node to move up one level in the tree and remains selected.

I have seen that the node moves as desired, but the focus jumps over to the remaining leaf node (i.e.def in my example). Thus you can't move one node around in the hierarchy without manually selecting it again.

I'm very irritated since I am quite sure that this feature worked as expected just a few days ago. (No, I did not run ANY updates recently.)

I run
java version "1.6.0_12"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_12-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.2-b01, mixed mode, sharing)
on Debian Lenny.

After I pressed Ctrl-LEFT; note current selection

After some more testing I luckily found out:
This bug occurs only *iff* I have enabled the feature "Save used Node IDs only".
Thus this feature breaks something internally.
