#772 program crashes on resize

Eric L.
Linux (68)

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with up-to-date packages and am having problems when I resize the application window. I am using the Ubuntu Java packages. I did see the warning; however, the resize problem is the only one that I seem to be running into.

This is the version I have installed:

The error is as follows:

emmajane@gollum:~/Desktop$ freemind
ERROR: Your Java is not a derivative from Sun's code,
to point to such a VM. See the manpage of freemind(1) for details.

The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 1136 error_code 8 request_code 145 minor_code 4)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

    Given the fact that the bug has been sent anonymously, and I offered a resolution, I close the bug. Reopen if necessary.
