keyboard layout: English, US international with dead keys (e.g. " + e -> ë)
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_45-internal-b14)
DESCRIPTION
When I switch between another application and Freemind, I am often not able to type special characters using dead keys.
However, when I press ALT (not ALT GR) to bring up the application command view, then press ALT again to close it, special characters with dead keys work again.
