Well hello
Using the following:
Freemind 1.0.1
Windows 7 64 bit
Chrome Version 33.0.1750.154 m
When dragging a URL from the browser into Freemind, the hyperlink works initially however after saving the mindmap, closing Freemind and returning to the map the next day I notice the hyperlink no longer works.
When I check the hyperlink, the address looks like this
../../../../../../AppData/Local/Temp/Weight%20Loss%20PLR%20Package%20-%20New%20Years%20Ca$h%20Explosion.url
When I monitor this Temp folder whilst dragging URL into the mindmap, I can see the links being created in there, however the next day they are gone. I cannot see where I can adjust the settings to stop hyperlinks being converted into these junk temp links.
The alternative to use Ctrl+K works fine but is not ideal for efficient working.

The only way I've found out to solve this is to use Java 6. I guess it must be some configuration in either the Java or Freemind. Freemind team: please fix this as this is indeed a 'basic' functionality.
