#509 xlim doesn't handle inf

Sometimes it is useful to have automatic scaling of only the upper or lower limit of for exemple the x-axis of a plot. In Matlab this can be achieved by the command

xlim( [ 1 inf ] )

Now the lower limit for the x-axis is 1 and the upper limit behaves as with 'auto'. I should mention that this feature (appently) is not documented on the MathWorks website (I was not able to find it at least).

In FreeMat the command above simply clears the plot. One time the whole FreeMat application crashed, but I was not able to reproduce this with a small example.
