I cannot get the buildings into the build queue. Lets say I want to build a space port, I need to put it in the build queue, but I can't. I have tried double clicking, right clicking, clicking and dragging, and pressing some random keyboard buttons. Nothing will work. How does this thing work? Ive looked at every listed keyboard shortcut, and the marsopedia, but I can't find any help.

Hello issac, normally you add colony improvements or units to building queue by double clicking on them. Doesn't this work for you? Can you please add a screenshot.

Umm, the thing is, I am on a windows 8.1 tablet that can be hooked up to a mouse and keyboard like a pc, and otherwise is just like a laptop. I have been able to play games like freeciv and freecol without an actual mouse. I can DoubleClick right click and use a keyboard normally for everything, but it doesn't seem to work be able to DoubleClick on free mars. I can DoubleClick on things normally(to open files in file explorer I have to double click) but I tried that several times with free mars and it didn't work

I am not exactly sure how to capture this in a screenshot, but it could be a problem with me using a touch screen, because I don't actually own a mouse.
Edit: I have tested double clicking on several different applications, and they recognize it and perform the function bound to double clicking(usually zooming or opening a file) so I think it may be a problem with the download I have, or the free mars program. Its a shame because I really liked the freeCol game, and this game seems to be better

Suggestion to Arikande:
Maybe you can implement a right-click menu to choose from "add to queue" or "open database"...
