Enable water and energy for larger populations

    I would like to not have to keep shuffling people to new colonies in order to keep from running out of water and energy. There should be another level of expanded facilities, perhaps a nuclear reactor, and a water reclamation plant. These could both be expensive in terms of time and materials, but they would enable much larger colonies. I have yet to build a colony that could use the hydroponic farm because any colony large enough to build it doesn't have any significant surplus water or energy.

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for your suggestion. I've also been thinking to add these advanced colony improvements to the game to allow larger colonies for some time. They will produce more energy / water, but also will be much more expensive as you have suggested.

    But currently I am improving (actually I am trying to improve :) ) the AI players of the game. There isn't even a decent "diplomacy" in the game so I want to add this first.

    I will add these improvements in time and I have created Feature request #87 for it.
