Hello Daniel,

I guess I'm the current maintainer for the project, but nor I nor the 
original devs have any time to work on it. I might pick it up again 
soon-ish for my phd work but I son't know when that will happen.

It's great that you're interested in hacking on this codebase. Let me 
know what I can do to help you out.
