I'd really like to have folder aliases, eg. "\tv"
points to "c:\documents & settings\administrator\my
documents\my videos\tv" which doesn't fit in the kiss
display on the tv.
tv (c:\documents & settings\administrator\my
documents\my videos\tv)
That way, the foldername itself is visible, and the first
part of the path also, so with short paths, this looks clean...
is that a good solution? (configuring a alias for every
folder clutters the GUI way to much...)

yep, your suggestion sounds like a good enough way to me...
since its usually just the last folder you need to know,
though i could imagine instances where it wouldn't work.
ie... same last folder but different higher level ones.

I could change it to send the folder as:
tv (c:\documents & settings\administrator\my
documents\my videos\tv)

part of the path also, so with short paths, this looks clean...
