I have an .avi file end the subtitles in a .str file, but nothing happens.
What should I do ?

  Was that a typing mistake? I can use .srt (not .str) files, by selecting video->subtitle in vlc.

    Yes it's a .srt file.
    It's like magic, I try another time, it functions !!
