I'm getting a hang when I use a x64 Release build of FreeImage 3.18.0 to read (FreeImage_Load) the attached file. I don't get a hang when using the x64 Debug build. I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019 Version 16.7.7. Can anyone reproduce this problem? Thank you.
The uploaded "pine.icon" file seems not a valid icon file -- I tested its Icon Directory, I couldn't get the correct "idCount" and "idType" (should be 1). BTW, the file extension should be "ico", not "icon"?

Win32 Release is also hanging on the attached file. Win32 Debug also successfully loads the file.
