It would be nice to switch from CVS to a modern system. It's possible to use Subversion, Git, Mercurial or Bazaar on sourceforge. There is no active development on CVS and a lot of features are missing. From my point of view CVS is a real problem, because there is no proxy support (I'm sitting behind a proxy). I prefere Mercurial because I'm already using it on OGRE development, but I also can use other systems except CVS.
