Mario, Hello and welcome to the "freeglut" community. I have no experience with c++ builder 2009 so I can't speak with assurance on the subject. If it is a descendant of Visual Studio 6, though, it ought to be able to upgrade the workspace and project files. Failing that, I would simply copy the source code files into a single directory (as they presently are, in the "src" directory) and try compiling them. I am interested in finding out why your project couldn't link using vs2005. What sort of error messages did you get? John F. This is a very old project from 1998 that uses GLUT 3.7.6. I'm new to openGL and i've recently purchased the openGL super bible edition 4 which when i compile it says it cant link freeglut_static when i use vs2005. I will be using c++ builder 2009. And i want to stop using GLUT and move over to freeglut. Could you please advise me on what i should do to get freeglut working in this version of c++ builder. Do i have to just copy the files into the include folders and such? I'd be very greatfull for any help. Regards, Mario. |
