Um, before you remove all the glFlush calls in a single buffered app you may
want to consider this. The OSX implementation of single buffering is really
a double buffer implementation, and the goodies don't appear until a glflush
call, which does a copybuffer. They pull a similar stunt for drawing in
front buffer in a double buffered context. Now I know freeglut doesn't
support OSX right now, but maybe someday.
