You're right, it gives me a segmentation fault also.  If nobody fixes it over the long weekend, I'll try taking a look at it Tuesday.

It's

glutSetOption(GLUT_ACTION_ON_WINDOW_CLOSE,GLUT_ACTION_GLUTMAINLOOP_RETURNS)

that doesn't work.
