I’m going to develop yet another GUI framework for openGL. At present time I’ve based the framework on freeglut.
Is there a project that has ported, is going to porting or will port freeglut in C++.
The idea is to create a hierarchy of objects that inherits from a common abstract base class that exposes methods as interface and then create specialized classes for the different OS’es avoiding the mix of win/unix code using #ifdefs in the source file.
If none project is going on in this direction, is there someone that should be interested in making this kind of porting?
