#76 SMTP header with unicode (uft-8)

After we have moved our application from codepage 8859-1 to unicode utf-8 we are seing problems in smtp header. Subject and other fields are not sent correct.
The body part is working fine after setting codepage to utf-8.

Do anyone have an idea how to get the header part correctly with utf-8?
