For the less impatient, here's how you can just "redirect" you currently checked-out working copy to the new cvs archive: 1) set the environment variable CVS_RSH to `ssh`, e.g in bash you would put in your `.bashrc`-file: `export CVS_RSH=ssh` 2) replace the current line in _each_ `CVS/Root` file (in every CVS subdirectory in your cvs-tres) with the following line: :ext:<youruser>@cvs.freedroid.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/freedroid 3) if you've already activated your ssh-access, as explained in an earlier email, you should now be able to use your current working-copy of the cvs-tree without problems and check in all the modifs you've been holding back so hard... :)) Cheers, Rh |
