On Dec. 15, Mateusz Viste released FDNPKG 0.98, the FreeDOS Network Package manager. Changes: "+ removed the log message 'mkdir...' when installing packages, + using compressed (gzip) index files for faster sync of repos and better error detection, + added polish translations, - fixed the download progress indicator for files bigger than 21M, - slightly improved the speed of loading the db from cache (avoiding sorting db entries twice), - fixed crashes on pre-Pentium CPUs caused by Watt-32 using Pentium opcodes, - when a file is being downloaded, the 'Downloading...' string is properly localized now (if localization is available), - updated Slovenian translations". Grab binaries and sources (GPLv3) at http://fdnpkg.sf.net .
