FreeDOS Edlin / News: Recent posts

FreeDOS Edlin 2.24 has been released to an unsuspecting world! This version includes changes made by Jim Hall for ease of use, and moves the copyright info to the help screen. Also, "Abort edit" has been changed to "Really quit".

When Jim Hall compiled Edlin 2.22 for a video, I noticed a compiler warning. This obviously caused a disturbance in the Force, so the new 2.23 version fixes that warning. Get it in the download section! -- Gregory

Twenty years in the making, the new version of FreeDOS Edlin, 2.22, has been released unto an unsuspecting world!

In an ongoing quest to make FreeDOS Edlin more perfect and awesome, I have announced a new version, FreeDOS Edlin 2.21! This version has two new change log entries. The copy subcommand was fixed so that the fourth parameter actually does what it is supposed to do. There is also one more change to make it imitate M$ Edlin's behavior. Send all comments to me!
