Quick Start Guide

The easiest way to get going is to simply run the Badger Dnp Test Set implementation of the Dnp Library. You will need the following installed first:
Java 1.6 SE
if you require java serial port install the Java Communications API - javax.comm driver

Some info about the Badger Dnp implementation:
There are 5 Binary Inputs, 5 Analog Inputs and 5 Binary Outputs in the default settings config xml file.
RTU address is 10 and Master address is 100 also in the config file

The communications choice can be selected from the toolbar tab. First select the comms type then hit the start button. Unsolicited null messages shoul begin transmitting. With a master on the other end the Badger and Master systems should start communicating.
