I discovered this was not used when I commented out the offending line (and a few other bugs) and found that the code compiled.

And only now realized that maybe timerid is not referenced because the POSIX timer code isn't finished, which might mean this bug is related to 3441304.

    POSIX timers are almost finished now in git.
