I downloaded and successfully built DCEThreads 2.0.2.
However when I try to build FreeDCE the make file
fails right away. I tried 1.0.6 as well as checking
out the current source from cvs. I have included the
config.log as well as the output from the configure
script and make.

I am trying to build for redhat 6.2 with gcc 2.91.66.
Do you have any suggestions on what I might try?

Can you try the lastest release of freedce?
There have been a couple of fixes for redhat, and I wonder
    if they solve your problem...

Try Redhat 7. I could never get it to build under Redhat
6.2, but with a few additions of missing header file
includes and removing warnings as errors from compile
    options it all builds.

We're moving to dcerpc.net; please checkout freedce from
CVS there; and it should solve your problem!
    http://dcerpc.net/cvs/ for more instructions.

    Hi Josh,

Hope u'd've solved the problem. Kindly help me out of this
    similar.
DCEThreads dint give any errors (but it dint create the library
    file its supposed to create)
because of that, FreeDCE doesnt build (it says libdcethread
    not found in /opt

    Rgds
