#4 Modem status and control

I'd like for freebase to show the base station's
modem's current status and a button to hang it up.

This would be nice for those times when I need to use
the phone line for other uses and don't want to wait
for the isp time out and don't want to walk upstairs
and unplug the phone line.

I really would be happy vith the feature you describe (current
status and a button to hang it up since my PC on Windows XP
rvision 2)

Well, since always on Mac, my powerbook is dead and I don't
want to buy a new one as new generation will work on Intel.
So I use now a PC who is able to connect to the Airport Base
station working with an ISDN modem of Hermstedt (AirShuttle
ISDN Modem), because in the countryside I live there is no ADSL
available at al,l and for years.

Free Base, as it is, allows to configurate the station, but not to
hang it up when I need to use my phone for a voice call ...
