    Is it possible to compile freedoko to run on the N900?

    It should be. You need at least the developement package of the gtkmm library and for sound the one of alut. If you give it a try, please post your feedback here.

    I executed make compile under "Easy Debian" on the N900 and got no error message. After starting with ./FreeDoko I get the following error (within "Easy Debian)

    Gtk Warning **: Locale not supported by C Library.

    Error::loading the card back ()

    Gtk Warning **: Locale not supported by C Library.
          Using fallback 'C' locale
    Al lib: ALc.c: 1879: exit(): closing 1 Device
    Al lib: ALc.c: 1808 alcCloseDevice(): destroying 1 Context(s)

    The Bugreport generates this output
    Error::loading the card back ()

    Running it straight under N900 brings up dependencie error on libatk something.
