I corrected some really old bugs in the setup script. If you tried free-cmms in the past and it did not work, try the new 0.04 release.
The demo page http://free-cmms.sf.net/demo is working again. It seems buggy due to session data storage. Any expert on this matter is welcome to help work this out.
After not having worked with free-cmms in quite some time I have decided to at get it in gear and at least fix all of the setup bugs and sf.net demo. Check back soon to see the upgrades.
Free-CMMS is in need of a new administrator. The current version has bugs that would be easy to fix for a LAMP knwledgeable person. I no longer have the time to keep free-cmms up to date with the current versions of PHP and MySQL. Please contact mechtonia if you can help.
Thanks to R & OS's PDF Class, free-cmms now generates PDF work orders for printing. This is a big improvement over the HTML formatted work orders. Download the nightly snapshot and enjoy.
Nightly snapshots are now available from the project home page (http://free-cmms.sourceforge.net/index.php) or here(http://free-cmms.sourceforge.net/free-cmms.zip). The nightly snapshot is an export of the code that free-cmms developers work on. So it always has the latest and greatest features and fixes but alas it is largely untested. If you downloaded and installed a release and found show-stopper bugs, check the nightly build. They have probably been corrected.
The CVS is up and running. Check out the CVS for the latest and greatest of free-cmms. New CVS only features include a personnel editor.
An online demo is now available from the projects home page. There is still some tweaking to do mostly due to Sourceforge using multiple webservers. Try it out and tell me how to improve it.

I zipped up my working scripts and posted them as version 0.01. There are no setup scripts or documentation for creating the databases. This code is unuseable for all but the most persevering users.
