Greetings; Attached is as far as I can get. This is the bottom face of a gaging block I am in the process of making for my CNC'd lathe. The next logical operation would be to mark 3 lines horizontally near the top of this, and plow a groove from side to side, with nominally 10mm wide faces whose vertex meets at a 90 degree included angle. This is to sit on the ways of the lathe. But everything is ghosted now. I also tried to make a sketch because it claimed I needed a sketch before I could plow a groove, so I made a sketch of the face in that menu. But now everything I need to proceed is ghosted. There will be a riser off the top rear edge, L shaped so that the leg of the ELL projects to the right over the lathes carriage, with another block glued to its front face, bolted to the top face of this base and positioned so as to hold a 2 pieces of dbl sided pcb to act as a probe contacts for forward facing cutting tools, and a swing into place but somewhat smaller, also with pcb contact faces to allow the auto-setting of such as boring bars whose cutting edges normally face backwards. What do I do to complete the current function so that I might be allowed to continue? Thanks. Cheers, Gene -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
